Empowered Aid is feminist, participatory action research focused on better preventing sexual exploitation and abuse in the delivery of humanitarian aid. They have published the findings and recommendations from Phase I. This webinar shares those findings and recommendations from research in Lebanon and Uganda. Utilizing participatory action research, Empowered Aid engaged a group of refugee women and girls to share their lived experiences with aid delivery and provide recommendations on how to make distribution and access to aid safer. The research was conducted in partnership with The Global Women's Institute and CARE International in Lebanon and the International Rescue Committee in Uganda.
