Following similar concerns as those expressed in the UK International Development Committee’s report "Progress on tackling the sexual exploitation and abuse of aid beneficiaries" released earlier this month, the Netherlands Government, CHS Alliance and the International Institute of Social Studies are embarking together on a three-year project aiming to enable people affected by sexual exploitation, abuse, or harassment to obtain accessible and effective assistance to complain and see their complaints addressed. Based on learning Ethiopia, Bangladesh and the occupied Palestine territories, this project will provide valuable insights and practical tools that will benefit the humanitarian sector in other countries, and at the international scale.
