In late March 2022, the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) and the Resource and Support Hub (RSH) conducted a four-hour training on Risk Assessment Management of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH) for 15 participants (4 INGOs and 11 NGOs), members of the South Sudan NGO Forum in South Sudan.

The training was based on the "RSH Nigeria: Safeguarding (or SEAH) risk assessment and management tool"  and was adapted to the South Sudan context to help participants identify the SEAH risks and other harms and abuses that their organisation may face during operations.  By the end of the training, the participants were able to anticipate future risks to their organisations as well as consider how they could take action to reduce the risks and make better decisions in the event of an SEAH incident in the context of South Sudan.

ICVA is a global network of non-governmental organizations whose mission is to make humanitarian action more principled and effective by working collectively and independently to influence policy and practice.  ICVA joined the RSH as a consortium partner in 2022 and its providing a technical guide of global products and supports the regional and national RSH hubs.
