There are standards and procedures available for conducting safeguarding investigations. However in reality, investigations are often more complex than the procedures allow. Issues such as risks to the survivor, local norms and culture and safety and security mean that investigations are rarely straightforward and often require us to make some really difficult decisions.

This podcast takes an honest look at these challenges, and how we can begin to have open conversations to address them.
