Nneka is a development and humanitarian professional with more than fourteen years of progressive experience. Nneka is a skilled safeguarding- and gender professional with a combination of experience in setting up safeguarding systems, establishing reporting mechanism, and case management. She has worked with CBOs and several INGOs.
Nneka is skilled in conducting robust program/organizational audit to identify strengths and gaps and designing interventions to address the gaps.
Nneka is experienced in designing and implementing evidence-based, high-impact Gender Transformative and social inclusion programming, Gender-Based Violence Response, Sexual Harassment and Abuse response, Child Protection, Child and Adult Safeguarding, Survivor-centred case handling and referrals including violence Prevention and reporting in the context of Health, Women and Adolescents programming, advocacy, orphans and vulnerable children, Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Community Development, Capacity building of NGOs/INGOs, Government’s Agencies and Private Partners etc.
Nneka is a multi-talented professional with vast knowledge and years of experience in designing and implementing USAID, EU, CDC, UNPFA etc funded programs and has supported several CBOS and INGOS to establish and strengthen their safeguarding systems.
