The purpose of this role is to provide strategic guidance for the development and strengthening of NRC’s global systems for preventing and responding to acts of SEA and child/vulnerable adult abuse committed by its staff or by those associated with the organisation, whether against beneficiaries or other NRC staff/representatives. The role supervises and oversees the work of two investigations specialists and has a strong focus on global representation and high-level donor liaison.

The Head of PSEA and Safeguarding is expected to travel regularly to relevant meetings and may be required to travel to country and regional offices to lead high-priority investigations, awareness-raising and capacity-building activities and support strategic initiatives.
